Creating Magic with Modeling Clay!

Help me give my students Crayola Model Magic modeling clay to create new sculptures and 3D works of art!

My Project

We have students come today with lots of energy and busy brains, doing things with their hands in very calming. Keeping their hands busy is very important. Art is a safe place for students to explore all types of art with supplies they usually do not have access to. And this supply is not available at my school. My students will use Crayola Model Magic clay to explore new and exciting art forms/ 3D pieces of art. They will examine elements of art hands-on, creating unique sculptures. This hands-on supply will be beneficial in students' sensory stimulation, cognitive growth, and expansion of exposure to new materials. Creating art helps build my students' confidence and often creates a physical reminder of what they can achieve when they apply effort. This specific type of clay is crucial in my classroom, as we do not have a kiln. The clay's air-dry nature and light-weight consistency is IDEAL for space, time, and transporting home. Unlike regular clay, Model Magic is very forgiving. It often does not break when dropped, and allows students to color clay with Crayola markers.
