My Project

Hello! I’m a dedicated Pre-K teacher in a Title I school district where more than 60% of our students come from financially struggling families. Many of my young learners arrive at school without basic necessities—some without snacks, warm clothes, or even school supplies. Despite these challenges, they come eager to learn, explore, and grow.

In early childhood education, hands-on materials and manipulatives are essential.

They help students develop critical thinking skills, build fine motor coordination, and foster a love for learning through play. Unfortunately, our classroom lacks many of these vital tools due to limited funding. As a single mother myself, I do my best to provide what I can, but I simply can’t meet the growing needs alone. I am requesting bean bag chairs, mobile organizer, copy paper, round rug, and more for a classroom that feels like a second home.

Your support would go directly toward providing snacks, educational materials, sensory tools, and learning manipulatives that make a real difference in these children’s daily lives. Every dollar helps create a nurturing, stimulating environment where our youngest learners can thrive—regardless of their financial background.
