My Project
My students are intellectually curious and animated readers in the classroom. Like all students, they need to spend time reading for pleasure outside the classroom to strengthen and improve their reading skills, but sometimes lack motivation to do so. This list of books represents a diverse array of authors and book types that I believe will pique their interests and encourage them to read voraciously outside of school. From high interest teen fiction from a wide variety of authors of different backgrounds to challenging, often-cited novels for advanced AP students, these books are sure to spark student interest in reading, leading to lifelong reading habits!
