Creating Life-Long Scientists

My students need to improve their science education with science textbooks, workbooks, inquiry-based experiments, and science games.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Lippert's classroom raised $287

This project is fully funded

I have the incredible privilege of teaching a fantastic group of third grade students at a small, very rural school in Montana. The school I teach at has a very diverse population of energetic students on a Native American reservation.

The group of students I am privileged enough to teach are so enthusiastic about science! Daily I am quizzed on scientific topics that the students are curious about. I love that natural curiosity! However, at our school we have no science resources to actually participate in science experiments. The students are being put at a disadvantage since they do not have access to the resources that wealthier schools take for granted.

In order to really create and foster the idea of every student being a life-long scientist we need to actually do science! The materials I am requesting will allow students to explore the world around them through a scientific lens while having fun and learning! This will impact my students in a positive way because they will not only get a chance to read about the science topics they are so interested in, but they will also get a chance to engage in the material we are studying with the hands-on experiments... it is the best of both worlds! I am requesting science notebooks and textbooks, science questions of the day books, a set of nonfiction books about science related topics, and book about fun and engaging experiments for my students to participate in at a third grade academic level.

Your generous donations will make it possible for my students to further their love of science and scientific inquiry by allowing them to actually study the subjects they are so passionate about. Supporting this project not only supports science in schools but also creates the next generation of scientific thinkers to better the world we all share.
