it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are vibrant, curious, and full of creativity. They come to school eager to learn, explore, and express themselves. But many of them face challenges outside the classroom due to economic hardship. Our school serves a diverse, low-income community where access to basic art supplies at home is often limited or nonexistent.
In our classroom, I want to create an art center—a space filled with materials that invite imagination, spark joy, and allow students to express their feelings and ideas through art. This center will be a place for them to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop essential fine motor and problem-solving skills.
