This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching a mix of students from all socioeconomic backgrounds can be a challenge! While working in our Social Studies Classroom, we focus on North Carolina and U.S. History. In order to make the curriculum more relatable to all students, I try to incorporate a variety of projects that allow students to showcase their artistic abilities on paper and in digital formats. While our school is a STEM Magnet school, creating items within the Social Studies classroom requires a lot of thinking "outside of the box" to apply STEM fields to our curriculum.

Creating posters and replica artifacts within the social studies classroom using primary and secondary sources as reference materials requires a lot of art supplies, and with those, storage is needed for those supplies.

I am asking for help with obtaining supplies and storage solutions for all of these supplies.
