My Project

By using expo markers during math, students are able to show their thinking through visuals as well as abstract representations. During math lessons and interventions, students are able to use expo markers to practice and better understand math concepts taught. Currently, my students have access to a limited amount of expo markers. Making sure that all of my students have access to expo markers in order to be successful is critical. We also are in need of two stools for my students to work in small groups with the teacher.

My students are able to become more engaged and active in their learning through the use of visual models created with an expo marker.

These manipulatives will help students make connections in their learning in a hands on and visual way.
