My Students

Third grade is a great time to learn lots of new things. Sometimes it is hard for students to do their work on paper and in books all day long. I like to get my students involved in what they are learning and do it in different ways.

Each student learns in a different way.

This is what makes all of us so interesting and it is okay. Everyone is unique in their own way. We help each other along the way by being kind and honest.

We like to have morning meetings where everyone can share their thoughts and ideas. This helps us to build class community. I want to help my students learn in whatever ways help them most. I love all my students and want what is best for them.

My Project

The past couple of years have be hard not only for teachers but for students too. I have noticed an increase of emotional needs. The materials that I have in this project will help students to express their emotions.

Sometimes children are unable to say how they are feeling so art helps them to express how they feel.

They will be able to use their own art materials to do this. I will be able to put together fun art lessons for my students. These lessons will be integrated with the State Standards. Students will be able to use the Language Arts games when working alone or in groups. This will get them excited to do their work and assure that they are learning. When students are finished with the work they will be able to turn it into the bins so that everything will be organized.
