My Students

My pre kindergarten, varying exceptionality students are a kind and energetic bunch of children. I teach in a Title I school. Most of our children are from single parent homes. We are a neighborhood school, and I am very proud to teach at our school. The students in my classroom each come with their own way of learning. It is my hope to reach each student and create a love of learning within them. Each of my students deserve the best tools to help them learn.

My Project

Hands-on experiences help young children enjoy learning. When teaching PreK ESE students, hands-on activities are sometimes the only way to reach them. The K’Nex builders will allow them to use their imaginations and will help them communicate through play. Some of my students are non verbal so this will allow them to play with peers.

Kinetic sand, glitter glue, and other art mediums help them create and make connections with each other.

Each day we try to create new experiences for our students. All of these supplies will make a huge difference in the learning activities that we are able to create for our students.
