My Project

My students are unique because they come from culturally diverse backgrounds and are eager to learn about the arts. I make it my mission to choose premium art materials for their lessons so they have the best art exposure and hands on experience's.

I also incorporate activities using social-emotional learning strategies, which help my students feel calm, joy, and relaxed.

They are enthusiastic learners.

We are a Title I School which means most students recieve free or reduced breakfast and lunch

I have requested Tru-Ray Paper White Paper and Mr. Sketch Scented Markers for my students to create colorful hearts.

The materials reuested will be used for artwork inspired by Chris Uphues known for postive hearts, shapes and flowers.

They will learn about his famous artworks, background and learn about the importance of murals. He promotes positive art using bright colors on murals in communities through the United States.

Looking forward for my studetnts illustrating and using a special technique with the markers by actually turning them into water colors on their happy art..
