This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school every day full of life and ready to learn. Our school is a Title I school located in the Bronx. I teach the fifth-grade self-contained class where there are many different learning styles.

My students are energetic and have a love for learning.

Despite many hardships, my students are still eager to learn to do their best.

My students often see school as an escape, and it would be amazing to create a tranquil learning environment for them. They will be so grateful for your donations! I appreciate your support.

My Project

Many of my students are in need of hygiene supplies. I want to create a bag that is filled with different toiletries they could use. Many of my students need a new toothbrush so I am requesting that along with toothpaste. I have three students that are in need of a hairbrush as well. Many students have poor hygiene skills and don't have access to the products to help them. I want to create little baggies with all the products for the student to use at home. It is important to start these skills at a young age!
