Creating Geniuses the Osmo Way!

Help me give my students an iPad to add to our Osmo station that provides educational games that teach reading and math skills in a fun way!

My Project

I was inspired to write this project after seeing how an iPad can be the window into all kinds of fun learning for my kiddos. Some of the apps that are downloaded onto an iPad actively engage children in the learning process by merging tactile exploration with innovative technology. Whether a child is a music lover, bookworm, or aspiring mathematician, there is an app or game for them. For my project, I'm asking for an iPad and a protective case, so that my students can have access to this types of learning resources. We would use it in our learning stations that transforms our learning into exciting, interactive fun!

An iPad would give my students access to a resource designed to instill a love of learning and help early learners develop their whole brain and learn through imaginative, hands-on play—the way children learn best!

Children are motivated by these types of resources that help them do better, while retaining their interest and sparking their imagination. Kids learn by doing, so each game uses physical action. Whether it’s arranging tangrams, zooming number tiles around, or even freehand drawing, the iPad allows the access to a resource that increases the learning capability in a fun, interactive, and effective way. I can already imagine the gasps of excitement when it's a student's turn with Osmo!
