My Project

My 2nd graders have researched robots. They have learned the history behind robots. They researched how robots are used in space, the sea, hospitals, schools, manufacturing, the military, culinary practices, for companionship and for elderly assistance.

Students explained how they felt about A1 and how their lives would change if they had their own robot.

I have read The Wild Robot and the Wild Robot Protects to my students. I look forward to reading the third book to them.

Students built robots from recyclable materials. Now it is time to build a real robot! With your support, I would like to have students work in small groups to build robots.
