This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eagered to learn, but they struggle because reading in a foreign language is extremely difficult. I would like to have a variety of books not only in English but also in their native language. Being strong readers in their native language will help my students transfer their knowledge when they read in English.

Also, I would like to get some materials from Teachers Pay Teachers that will supplement the reading curriculum I currently use, Inside by National Geographic.
