My Project
In my modern classroom, my students use laptops to work at their own pace to complete their Chemistry and Human Body Systems coursework. We do not use paper; everything is digital. In 2024, this learning model is designed to give students autonomy over their learning. There is one caveat—the students need devices! Our school provides devices to most students, but some students go without.
The inconsistency of available devices makes my modern classroom experience difficult to fully implement.
I strive for equity in instruction, but to be equitable means I need reliable devices for all students in my classroom at all times.
I am preparing to teach Summer School in July and would love some extra laptops to support my students from all throughout the district. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider giving to my project!
