Creating Engaging Materials Together

Help me give my students materials to build tactile opportunities to practice speech/language and social/emotional skills.

My Project

We work with students with a variety of disabilities who love to touch and manipulate materials to practice their social/emotional and speech/language skills. We love to involve them in the process of making personalized learning materials such as books and binders.

When students can help create and build books, journals, and practice activities, they are that much more invested in using these materials to practice their skills.

It is magical to see them light up with pride at what they are capable of creating when given access to the right materials and support.

By ensuring that we have the supplies needed for our printer and laminator, as well as adding a binding machine, we will be able to help bring our students' materials to life!
