Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the driving force of my teaching. They are the motivation that keeps me going during this difficult time. Distance learning has been quite the adjustments for both myself and my students. Most of my students are connecting with me via their chrome books from home. I have had limited resources here at home for learning. I do a lot of my work solely on my computer. My students love to hear my read stories and they love to listen to stories. Many of them have expressed to me how much they miss school. They know it is not the same but they keep their spirits up and show up for me every week. They are truly amazing!

My Project

It is most likely that distance learning is here to stay at least in our immediate future. With that I would like to have a better functioning computer to be able to create engaging lessons for my students.

Engagement is so much more important now to be able to reach our students in innovative new ways.

Now more than ever is it crucial to have technology that is up to par to meet the needs of my students. With this computer I will be able to access resources to share with my class online. I will be able to create with apps such as, google classroom and seesaw. I want to be well prepared for my class because regardless it is my responsibility to give them the best that I can.
