I teach Kindergarten in Keene, Texas. We are a very small and low socioeconomic school district. My littles love to come to school because they know they are loved in my room! Sometimes life can be hard for our littles, but it shouldn't be at school!
Our cultural diversity is what makes my littles so unique!
We have students from all over the world. A large portion of our students are Marshallese, from the Marshall Islands! Their culture is so inspiring! These families are so thankful and appreciative of anything that people do for them! That is what I am trying to instill in my littles within our classroom! Love my littles!
My Project
While learning their foundational skills, I would love to use bright and colorful supplies to enhance my Littles's experience. These supplies will help make sure our learning is made fun!
Kindergarten should be full of creativity and happiness!
There are so many ways that my Littles' learning can be exhibited by using these supplies. They are learning to express themselves with words and pictures...what better way to do this than through colorful supplies! My Littles are taught responsibility for their supplies. I refer to their supplies as "teacher tools"! They love it! When something is special to them, they are more likely to take care of it.
