This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is made up of 18 eager 3rd graders who are happy to go back to in person learning this year! Teaching in a Title I School, I know many of my students come from homes with multiple families living in one unit. Some students do not have their own beds, bedrooms, or a dedicated space for learning in the home. As a result of that, some have a hard time staying organized.
Organization is a skill that is often not taught in schools, but expected to be successful in college or career.
Using organizational tools in the classroom and modeling for students that everything has a place will help them this school year and beyond. Help set my students and classroom up for success through the use of organizational tools in the classroom!
