This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Painting is a ton of fun, but it also helps young minds develop all sorts of skills. They're learning to express themselves in fun and exciting ways. Most of my scholars are economically disadvantaged and I want to provide them with canvas and painting materials so they can create masterpieces to give to their families as kindergarten keepsakes.

There are so many incredible benefits of painting for children which makes this art so much more than just a fun activity for my scholars.

Children strengthen many foundational skills while taking part in this enjoyable activity as painting has many social, emotional, physical, and intellectual benefits.
