Creating Calm in the Classroom to Engage Exceptional Learners

Help me give my students high interest learning materials like the projector to increase engagement, sensory items to help them remain regulated and ready to learn and flexible seating opitons to create learning spaces anywhere in the classroom!

My Project

This project aims to transform the SEALS (Structured Education for Alternate Learning Styles) classroom into a dynamic and inclusive learning environment by incorporating sensory tools, high interest learning materials, and high tech equipment to foster an inclusive classroom that supports diverse learning styles and sensory needs of this population while promoting student engagement! Sensory tools help students manage sensory overload while high interest curriculum and materials stimulate curiosity and promote active participation. The addition of some high tech materials will expand the way information is presented and accessed, personalizing the learning experience even more. Finally and perhaps most exciting are the TPT gift cards! These are going to allow me to find highly personalized and goal centered materials to promote maximum growth and learning in this Exceptional group of students for several years! Each student in my special education classroom will have task boxes and curriculum aligned to their unique needs with the help of these gift cards! I'm looking forward to the new levels of engagement in our classroom and can't wait to see their faces when I am able to add these tools and materials to our classroom.

Ultimately, this project is designed to empower SEALS students, foster a love of learning and enhance the classroom experience for this exceptional group of learners!
