This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a Special Education Teacher to 6th-8th graders who are a vibrant group that ranges in personalities that are all unique. What I love about my students is that they are all different and stand out in their own way.
My students are curious about different things and enjoy learning in my class.
Everyday is different and we never know what the day consists of, but my students are always enthusiastic about something.
We develop creative minds in my classroom and try to have students experience different things. My students although presented with challenges at times still look forward to great days, and immerse themselves into different challenges.
My Project
The items I chose for my classroom will make a difference in my students' learning by making it things more colorful and real. My students need to see things that make them want to learn and color is a perfect way to do that. Creating schedules with visualization will assist my students with understanding time.
These items will assist in developing communication, and dialogue with others, understanding number and letter recognition, and providing students with an activity that focus on STEM
It is important to develop minds that are evolving.
