This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I am requesting for my students and the classroom in general are supplies and organizers in which to store them. Being an English language learning student is not easy, and I try to come up with ways in which to bring out alternative methods for students to demonstrate their understanding of material that has been taught. Students are reading level 1 early reader books, and when they complete their reading, they will be creating posters or storyboards that will show the setting, characters, and the events in the story they read. Being able to show through the use of sketching, doodling, or drawing is just another way for English learners to show what they know.
