My Project
Seventy percent of the students that come to our school come to us below grade-level in reading. We obviously try a number of different methods to help them improve their reading, and our reading team is all very dedicated to student growth. Getting teens excited about reading when they have struggled with reading for years can be very challenging.
Help us give these students a little extra excitement and engagement by allowing them to choose their own book to order and purchase from a local bookshop!
When students can choose their own books, especially when they get to own the book, it adds a whole different element of investment and excitement.
