Creating Artwork With Your Awesome Art Teacher From Home!
Help me give my students the best quality online learning possible for elementary students of Art while teaching in a distance learning setting.
My students are from a small, suburban community that welcomes families from all over the globe. They bring a special blend of linguistic diversity, background knowledge, prior experiences and culture to our school.
My students are very creative, enthusiastic and eager to learn about the diversity of the world through the lens of art.
They would benefit from well-formed lessons that do not take 3 days to put together because of a poor performing computer. Since March 16th, my students have been learning at home. School will be closed due to the COVID-19 virus for the rest of the school year and possibly the beginning of next year. This has presented a major challenge in delivering quality lessons in a timely manner.
My wonderful students have been working very hard on the assignments that I have given them in Google Classroom, with YouTube video attachments, and some unedited videos I have created with my phone. However, my learners would benefit greatly from me having a laptop with sound and video editing capabilities to record video lessons of a higher streamlined quality.
This project will provide a laptop and microphone, so that I can use these amazing tools to enhance my students remote learning experiences.
Once we return to school, my amazing artists will benefit immensely by having a laptop in our classroom that will connect to our Smartboard to provide lessons that do not freeze or not open when needed.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
