it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are excited to return to the art room! The pottery/clay room is a great place for my students to really escape life and focus on creating mugs, bowls plates on the potters wheel as well as wedging clay to help them along in their journey in making slab, coil and pinch pots. My room is in need of stand alone HEPA air filtration units. These units take out the clay dust that floats in the air after the clay drys. These filtration systems are ideal for any clay/ pottery room.
These students come from all areas of the globe, which allows for a wide variety of languages and many cultures.
This diverse population also has a large diffraction in income levels. They are kind and considerate and are willing to help out each other at unexpected times. I want my classroom to be a warm and inviting room which allows for everyone to grow and a healthy art room is a great way to start.
My Project
Students will be able to create clay projects without worrying about clay dust that is a by-product of using clay. When clay drys it creates a fine dust that lingers in the air. An air filtration system will alleviate this most common problem. Please help make my learning environment a clean healthy one. My students deserve to learn about possible hazards in the art room and be able to find a simple solution that cleans the air and makes for a better workspace. These filters are some of the best.
