Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are so many things that our children lack and much more when it comes to education. School is a very critical time and place for them. Many of my students don't have the support and push necessary to keep moving forward, especially when it comes to school.

For this project, I am asking for materials to place on our classroom walls so that students may have a welcoming and warm learning environment.

I often find myself trying to encourage my students to feel comfortable in my class by making sure that my classroom is warm and welcoming. The materials I am asking for will help them stay motivated by surrounding them with positivity and a great-looking classroom!

The materials I am asking for would all be great sources that would help my room go around. It is important to me that I try my best to eliminate as much inequity as I can with the little that I have. Believe me that this is by no means a plan for my students to turn a complete 360 but it helps encourage them and persuade them that I care and they are indeed capable of achieving great things, no matter what.
