Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Classroom flow is crucial in any class. The way a classroom is set up can greatly affect transitions and the learning environment as a whole.

I am asking for a table to help with the flow of my class during our literacy and math stations.

Stations help create independent learners and will provide a constant area for the student's and their routines.

I am asking for help to replace a carpet for our classroom. We spend a great amount of time learning whole group and collaborating on the carpet near our smart board. The one we have is fraying and has been well loved by students years prior. This old one is starting to become a distraction, and a new carpet can help keep our students focused on the learning in front of them. I also believe a new carpet will be more sanitary for our students.

Next, I am have been in need of a bookshelf that is inviting and allows my students to positively interact with novels. The one I have selected can do just that! It can encourage students to get cozy with a book, which leads to future success.

Lastly, I am asking for some materials that can help my classroom, such as cardstock and magnetic books shelfs. The cardstock will be used to make durable stations that I can reuse from year to year. The book shelves will be placed on my white board to display the current topic/theme of that week.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and help support my class. I truly am blessed with the student's in my class, and I know that a welcoming classroom environment will encourage a comfortable space to learn and grow. Thank you.
