This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 5th graders are creative, curious, and eager to learn. My students love to learn with hands on activities. They have in their heart the love for learning about social issues, empathy, and building a strong community amongs each other.
My Project
As a dual language teacher and working in a title one school. My students need English and Spanish resources such as books to expand our library to become more culturally responsive. My students are learning Spanish and English while focusing on grade content materials, with this project I will be able to support my students with resources that will enhance their learning in both languages.
My students spend 8 hours of their day in the classroom, different seating for my students is essential to meet each student needs.
This project will help our classroom community tremendously.
