Creating an Art Atelier: Empowering Students Through Art!
My students need Classic Maple Storage Cabinet to store essential art materials for our Reggio inspired Pre-K curriculum so I can empower my students through art!
Materials have the potential to draw you in, make you want to stay a while, explore a little (or a lot), try new things, create and wonder. Organization is essential to creating a functional and beautiful learning environment. In order to empower my students through art I need adequate storage.
The desire to question, hypothesize, explore, and investigate is part of their very being.
This inherent sense of inquiry provides the foundation for my art integrated curriculum. Our students belong to a very special learning community where inquiry and discovery-based learning are encouraged. These young learners approach the world with great curiosity and inventiveness. My students enjoy investigating objects that are acquired on class journeys or contributed by our students and their families. My students need a proper storage closet in the art center that will help them to organize and access these materials. Additionally, I want to provide them with materials that will inspire further curiosity and learning, these resources will help me to empower my students through art by giving us the opportunity to collect, observe, discover, and work with materials.
My Project
I am eager to provide my students with adequate and accessible storage that will support discovery-based learning. I encourage my students to make independent choices in our classroom, but in order to be self-sufficient they must have easy access to their materials. My students need suitable storage to house their varied learning materials so that meaningful learning can happen. Contributing to this project will help us to meet this goal.
