This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Middle school students are exploding with ideas and emotions. Creating school murals will help my students express themselves and beautify their school in the process. The canvas, brushes and acrylic paint will make it possible to create the murals.

The painted murals will give my students ownership of their school.

We were all displaced by the virus. Help students feel at home in school once again. Help me increase attendance. Students who are proud of their school get more involved in their education. Students whose art is on the walls, will respect the building and take care of it.
