Help me give my students the added ability of cheer to my distance learning classroom. Seeing daily agendas, notes, etc. helps to normalize instruction
Our students are wacky and wild middle schoolers ready to dream, to envision, to engage with peers, and are always problem-solving.
Problem-solving in science classes helps to develop a sense of cooperation and support.
Our science students are eager novices in the practice of the engineering design process.
As 7th graders, my students are very open to new experiences, eager to be "hands-on" in the classroom, and very supportive of their peers. They enjoy researching and learning how current events in science are impacting their own personal lives and the lives of their community.
My Project
Students will be able to visualize the agendas for the day
Students will feel less anxiety when home classrooms look a bit like the traditional school classroom.
The larger write/erase board allows a bit of flexibility to the online learning process. Off the cuff, teaching opportunities are enhanced for the classroom.
On occasion students can watch projector-based lessons on a larger screen, making note-taking more accessible. Also, math formulas can be worked out on the larger screen - especially for students who do not have full digital access.
