This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a welcoming space for a diverse group of students, including English Language Learners and students with disabilities. They thrive in a supportive, visually rich environment that helps them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn every day.

I am asking for help to transform our classroom into a cozy and organized space where all students feel at home.

The decorative supplies will help make the room feel inviting and calm—something many of my students need to feel comfortable and ready to learn. The printer and label maker will allow me to create visual supports, custom worksheets, and clearly labeled materials tailored to my students’ specific needs. These tools are especially helpful for students with disabilities and English learners, who benefit greatly from clear visuals and structured environments.

Project Goals:

-Foster a safe, calming, and inclusive classroom environment.

-Provide accessible and personalized learning materials.

-Promote independence and confidence through visual organization.

-Ensure that every student, regardless of their needs, feels supported and valued.
