My Project

I work with an amazing group of students! They are an incredibly diverse group, with 50% being English language learners. They are entering the classroom with a wealth of knowledge and unique experiences. This group is full of kind, thoughtful, curious, and highly motivated scholars who are eager to learn more about themselves and the world around them.

Creating a space that is inviting and calm is a critical part of allowing students to focus and invest in their learning.

Lighting is a key component of this. With these under-cabinet lights, I can allow for greater brightness to prevent eye strain, while also maintaining a calm environment to improve academic performance. Additionally, these lights will allow me to highlight areas of our classroom in a beautiful way.

Each day we use a diffuser to add a fun element to our room. It smells great and contributes to the calm atmosphere. The students love the peppermint and it’s extra helpful throughout testing season!
