Creating A Service Prototype

Please help me provide my students with a 3D printer to create a prototype for their community service project.

My Project

My students in Engineering classes learn how to use the 3-D printer to create a prototype for their final project. Students learn the design process during the semester and then model a 3-D prototype. After they make their prototype, they know how to use the printer to print out their projects. Students then test their projects on classmates. If modifications are necessary, they go back and fix their STL file, then print again. When prototypes are complete, we work with the elementary students to test the projects. After testing, the projects are donated to the elementary students' classrooms.
