My Project

Dear Donors Choose,

I am reaching out to request your support in creating a Zen Room within our middle school classroom.

Our aim is to provide a calming and supportive environment where students can recharge, refocus, and develop mindfulness skills essential for their academic and emotional well-being.

Middle school can be a challenging time for many students as they navigate academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal growth. A Zen Room offers a dedicated space where students can find solace, practice mindfulness techniques, and develop strategies for managing stress and anxiety.

To create this environment, we are seeking the following items:

Meditation cushions and mats: Providing comfortable seating options allows students to engage in meditation and mindfulness practices comfortably. A sofa for those who prefer a stronger back support or a more “homie” environment.

Soft lighting fixtures: Gentle lighting can enhance the ambiance of the space and encourage relaxation without being overly stimulating.

Nature-inspired decor: Incorporating elements of nature, such as plants, stones, and artwork, can evoke a sense of tranquility and connection to the natural world.

By providing these resources, we aim to empower our students with tools for self-care, stress management, and emotional regulation. This The Zen Room will not only benefit individual students but also contribute to a more positive and supportive classroom environment.

We believe that every student deserves access to resources that promote their holistic development, and your support can help us turn this vision into reality. Together, we can create a nurturing space where students feel valued, supported, and equipped to thrive.
