This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to help my students manage the big emotions that they are feeling. I want to give my students different avenues to release their emotions and to feel like it is okay to feel what they feel but that all those emotions do not have to lead to violence. I want to incorporate these tools to help my students through stressful times and through those times where they might not really know what they are feeling. I want to create a calm space for my students to take a break and reset with a variety of fidgets and sensory toys. These fidgets will help with regulating their emotions which in hand will promote learning.
