Creating a Safe Classroom

Help me give my students vacuums to help keep our classroom clean, minimize dust, and support our health.

My Project

In my 6th grade inclusion classroom, flexible seating is a hit! I love being able to provide my students with different options of seats, other than their individual desks. I have a mini couch, three different tables with stools, and two carpeted areas where students are free to work and collaborate.

The two vacuums would help to ensure that our classroom environment is safe and clean for all of our class family.

Because our room is an air conditioned room and next to a noisy freeway, I must keep our doors closed. Dust and dirt frequently get into our room and cause areas to become easily dirty and require us to thoroughly clean the carpets and floors weekly. These two vacuums would help tremendously.

I do not want to get rid of our flexible seating arrangements, so to ensure that all areas of our room is clean to prevent students from getting sick is so important. I truly believe that a clean and organized environment helps to support success, which is why I will dedicate my time to keep the dust at a minimum level as much as I can.
