Creating a Realistic Rehabilitation Learning Space for Health Science Students

My Project

As part of the Health Science curriculum, it is essential for students to gain exposure to a wide range of healthcare careers and the skills required in each. Physical and occupational therapy are two rapidly growing fields that focus on restoring patient mobility, independence, and quality of life through purposeful activity. A dedicated rehabilitation area will:

Provide realistic, scenario-based learning experiences.

Teach students about patient rehabilitation after injury, illness, or surgery.

Introduce therapeutic tools, adaptive equipment, and basic therapy techniques.

Promote interdisciplinary knowledge, linking anatomy, kinesiology, and patient care.

Foster empathy and critical thinking by simulating real-life therapy challenges.
