Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a reading interventionist for students in grades 6–8 who are currently reading at a 2nd to 4th grade level. These students face significant challenges with reading, often feeling disconnected from materials that are not designed for their skill level. My goal is to provide a structured, inviting learning environment where they can access high-interest, age-appropriate books and literacy tools that meet their needs.

To do this effectively, I need a bookshelf to organize our leveled books and an organizer for storing reading manipulatives and word cards.

With these tools, my students will be able to find what they need quickly, focus better, and engage more confidently in their reading practice.
