it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Engaging in a hands-on activity like building a diorama encourages students to engage physically and mentally in a task which can be soothing for their mind and well-being. Students love when I come up with projects that integrate art in our science classroom. They love to show off how creative they can get, which redirects their thoughts away from stress or anxiety, promoting mindfulness and relaxation.
Having students engage in building a diorama will help calm and redirect their thoughts from stress, promoting a sense of relaxation.
Building a diorama to learn about dinosaurs and their environment provides students with the opportunity to step into a different time, allowing them to immerse themselves in the ancient world. This shift in focus encourages imaginative thinking and helps them engage with the past, fostering a sense of curiosity and wonder.
Students can develop a deeper understanding of history and science in an enjoyable, hands-on way, while working quietly and at their own pace. Your donation will provide our class with all the materials we need, including, clay, paints, pipe cleaners, yarn, and craft supplies.
