Help me give my students cooking supplies for their new culinary class and café.

My Project

My students are in high school and although they have various disabilities they still love to cook. We have started a Culinary class and my students will incorporate their own recipes to create their own food and desserts. My students come from various backgrounds and I just want to help them in excel in something they enjoy. Although we are a small class of 8 at a time it takes longer when we only have 1 or 2 cookware to use at a time.

My students love to cook!

With the Instapots we can have food finished by the time class is finished. The grill will allow the students make hamburgers and hotdogs that they can then sell at lunch-time as a way to earn some money. The bakeware and kitchen gadgets will assist multiple students in baking at the same time while still being independent. With this cookware we will be able to really start cooking. We will be able to cook, grill and bake and have fundraisers with the food that they cook.

These students have many challenges but they have found something they can make into their own. They have found ways to create their own recipes but just need the proper tools to execute their plans. These students will leave and go to adult facilities or back home but the skills and recipes they acquired will be theirs forever.
