This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our library media center in Yonkers, New York just received a 3-D printer! We want our students to become experts in using this tool to design and fabricate. Students will tap into the imagination to create and ultimately see their creations in 3-D. We hope to create excitement to stimulate learning!
My Project
We are so excited that our 3-D printer has arrived! We can't wait to see our students begin to design and create 3-dimensional objects, but to do so, we must make sure that our printer is supplied with enough filament to produce all of our students' creations. Right now we have filament in three colors but we are hoping to add additional colors. The possibilities are endless if we make sure that we have the supplies available for our children. Can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see their designs come to life!
