We've been using the decorations to brighten up the room and create displays that showcase student work and celebrate their accomplishments.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were excited to see all the ways we could transform our classroom. They especially enjoyed having a say in where things should go and how we could make the space feel more personal and inviting.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue decorating and creating student-centered displays throughout the year. We'll be adding student work, motivational messages, and projects to our classroom walls so students can see their progress and feel proud of what they accomplish. Because of your donation, our students were able to create heartfelt, handmade cards and send them to members of the military serving overseas this past holiday season. This project gave our students a meaningful opportunity to express gratitude and kindness to those who are spending the holidays far from home in service to our country.\r\n\r\nYour contribution did more than cover supplies — it helped foster empathy, creativity, and civic responsibility in our students. They took great pride in knowing their words and artwork would bring encouragement and holiday cheer to service members abroad. The course is college-linked, and the overseeing college requires that all documents are printed out. Before receiving this wonderful laser printer, deadlines were hideously stressful. Not only was the classwork copious and challenging, but there was the added burden of having to find a printer -- somewhere in the neighborhood, somewhere in the school -- to print it out and then coming up with the money [or the permission] to do so. Now, with the printer right here in the classroom, students can put their full focus into what matters: The school-work that will earn them credits as they get a head-start on their college journey. \r\n\r\nWe are just beyond grateful.
