Creating a Maker Space! The Future Begins Here!

Help me give my students a new start to an imaginative and constructive place in the classroom where they can build, create, and explore!

My Project

Our classroom is in a very busy and very diverse and multicultural school. We have children in our class ranging from ages 3 to 5. This is often their first experience in school, and we want to begin this journey with a new space and a new mindset of building, creating, and working with each other. We know the future starts with young children; we strive to give them everything they need. For us, that means a space to work, think, create, explore, and learn from each other every day.

Our maker space and block area now are one of the busiest and most loved spaces in our classroom, so much so that we often have to expand it onto the rug.

This project will provide many more figurines, blocks, and other construction items.
