Creating A Magical Classroom!

Help me give my students the most magical classroom experience ever! The LED lighting and comfortable office chair will provide my students with disabilities a comfortable and safe space!

My Project

The items I've requested here will provide my students with disabilities with valuable sensory, personal achievement, and academic support throughout my time as a teacher. Fidgets are often useful for my students who have difficulties focusing without a way to stim without creating any distractions for themselves or others; the folders will help my students learn crucial executive functioning organizational skills; the snacks will help my students stay extrinsically (and hopefully eventually intrinsically someday!) motivated in their school work; the office chair will provide comfortable flexible seating for anyone in the classroom; the LED lighting will allow students (and the adults working with them) who have light sensitivities to be less overwhelmed with harsh lighting, and the safe space sticker / magnet will let everyone know they are welcome and respected in this classroom.

My main goal for this project is to start off the school year strong with a magical, welcoming, and sensory-friendly environment for my students with disabilities.

I want my students (and supporting adults) to feel safe and not be caused extraneous overwhelm in school by simply visiting my classroom. My students are incredible human beings, who want to learn in the ways that they know help them best; this project / these tools support them in doing that for themselves, with us adults for a bit of guidance along the way.
