Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By securing a classroom vacuum, feminine hygiene products, bandages, cough drops, and snacks, I aim to foster a conducive learning environment for my students. The vacuum will help me clean our classroom rug which has been collecting the dirt from our shoes all year. Feminine hygiene products will ensure that no student faces unnecessary disruptions. Bandages and cough drops address health needs promptly, and snacks provide sustenance as well as happiness, which can enhance my 5th graders’ energy levels for optimal learning.

My goal is to create a nurturing space where students can thrive academically and emotionally.

The requested items contribute to a holistic approach to education by addressing both physical comfort and well-being.

My students are incredibly resilient and diverse, each bringing unique qualities to our classroom. Many face challenges outside of school, and by providing these resources, we hope to alleviate some stressors, allowing them to concentrate on their education. Together, we can create a supportive and empowering learning environment for these amazing children!
