Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students need a learning space where they are encouraged and celebrated for being their authentic selves. Providing them with a learning environment that is less institutionalized and more comfortable and nurturing is the key to unlocking each student’s inner genius. Please help provide my students with an opportunity to experience the healing power of a nurturing learning environment. The comfortable and varied seating will help students feel more comfortable and confident about themselves and their work environment. As their first middle school experience they will be able to reflect on themselves as global learners and community members and work together to maintain a comfortable, calm, accepting classroom culture.
