Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students have sensory processing differences and struggle to stay calm and focused in traditional chairs. For some, a hard chair is uncomfortable and a distraction. For others, sitting on the carpet can feel overwhelming, making it difficult to focus on the lesson. My goal is to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment by adding flexible seating options to our classroom. I'm hoping to purchase two large bean bag chairs, which will provide the deep pressure and support some of my students need to stay still and engaged. Your donation will help give these students the comfort and stability they need to thrive.
