My Project
My role as a classroom teacher and Restorative Justice Coordinator is overwhelming but it is also very exciting! I have the opportunity to support both students and staff in creating a culture of care that we need and deserve.
Creating a culture of care is not always simple or easy.
We need the theory and tools to guide us, so we are not just taking blind steps. With the books from this project, I will be able to share and lend out various texts that support our implementation of Restorative practices and creating a trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive school culture.
